New Fun Center Bridge

This winter has been a period of intense trail building on Galbraith Mt. Among other things, volunteer trail crews replaced the bridge that divides the Family Fun Center from the Lower Intestine (see above), where Galen Rockenbauer played a big role.

The approaches to the bridge have since softened considerably, but we included this photo so early riders of the bridge can get the respect they deserve.

Equally impressive has been the work done to extend the Ridge Trail. Dig this! You can now (or perhaps we should say, "once again") ride the entire length of the Ridge Trail without ever having to roll on road -- it's singletrack all the way.

This is really valuable work that benefits every mountain bike rider. So the next time you see a volunteer trail crew, please stop and give them five minutes of your time. That's all it takes...
